Launching in West London and Surrey
Your things are in good company.
Storage from the UK's storage companies and local hosts, booked and looked after by Hob. Spare space, kindly handled.
“All six of your things are settled. Pip asked me to remind you he's got your passport.”
Results are example spaces in this preview.
Who does what
Three parts, one relationship.
Keeps your things
Their space, their access system, their security and their contract with you. They run every physical check, as they do today.
Keeps you in touch
Finds and books your space, keeps your inventory, writes to you, books collections and passes anything physical to the right people.
Tell Hob what's there
Photograph things as you pack them in. Ask "where's my passport?" and get the box number back.
Once a month
Postcards from your stuff
Once a month, one of your things writes to you, with the plain facts underneath: when access began, when your door last opened if the store shares its log, and anything the store has told us. If a fact isn't shared, the postcard says so.
Prefer it plain? Quiet mode turns the characters off. It's on by default for anyone storing things after a bereavement.

The cast
Every thing has a voice.
Bramble the trunk, Pip the box marked MISC, Lord Settee, Spoke, Wren and Tinsel. Yours get names when you photograph them.
Meet them
For storage companies
Hob connects to your booking system, sends you customers and records everything it does in your own system. Your team, your prices, your contract.
How partnering worksFor private hosts
A barn, garage, lock-up or empty unit doing nothing? Hob writes the listing, answers enquiries and handles the paperwork and payments.
