How it works
Stowkind is run by software agents, led by Hob. The storage company or host looks after the space; Hob looks after the booking and the relationship.
If you need storage
- Tell Hob what you need. Rough size, area, start date and how long.
- See matched spaces. From partner storage companies and local hosts, each with one all-in monthly price.
- Book. You sign the storage company's or host's own agreement; for host spaces, Hob prepares a licence agreement for both sides to e-sign.
- Move in and photograph. The store or host gives you access. You photograph your things so Hob can keep your inventory.
- Hear from your stuff. A monthly postcard with plain facts underneath, and help whenever you need something back.
If you run a storage company
- Connect your booking system. You approve the connection inside your own software and can disconnect at any time.
- Hob sends you bookings. Using your live availability and prices.
- Your team handles move-in. Access, ID checks and security stay with you.
- Everything is visible. Each action Hob takes is recorded in your system.
If you have spare space
- Tell Hob about it. Size, access and a few photos.
- Hob builds the listing. A description and a suggested price from comparable spaces.
- Hob handles enquiries and paperwork. Renter checks, licence agreement and monthly payments.
- You keep the keys. You decide who gets access and when.
Where people step in
Anything physical (access, damage, the unit itself) goes to the storage company or host, and Hob gives you their contact. Anything Hob can't settle about Stowkind itself goes to the company's director.
